| 169 | One note shows him in the US before 1687. His middle name is Isaac by one source. He is our guy. There are very few facts available about Frederick. His will in the Court Minutes of Albany VIII, Page 499, give his birth place as Niewen Roy Lant Van Der Marken, North Brabant. There was no date listed. The earliest date we have for him in the US is 1687 when he was in Albany as a sponsor for Johannes Clutes daughter Elizabeth. He bought land in Albany, but the earliest date for that is 1703. Before that he was probably in Kingston, since most of his children were baptised there. A 1720 census has a Frederick Clute on the West Side of Renssalaerwyck, outside the manor. He had a house in Ulster county in 1709 and paid tax on it.His first known child was born in 1693. So he would have been born at least by 1673..and I suspect he was somewhat older than that. He lived in Albany Count, Schenectady, Ulster County, and Half Moon,New York. | Clute, Frederick W. (I69)
