  Amos married Charles Clute & Nellie Blaisdell. Their grand-daughter, Mary Ballou, of Box 507, Jesup, Iowa 50648 said her grand-mother was very strict. Ron Clute has a picture of Amos & Mary from Mary Ballou. Mary Zabriskie was not allowed in the house of Mary Zabriskie without a dress even though she was hurt in a horse riding accident. Amos owned a hardware store in Stanley, Iowa.
