  • Notes

    • She was a secretary in the White House during WWII when Pearl Harbor was attacked. The Japanese Embassy people left immediately after the attack leaving all of their personal belongings. These items were gathered up and given to White House employees. Marie got at least two serving bowls that she gave to her sister Lillian upon Marie's death. Lillian gave these bowls to her son, Robert, who gave them to his brother, Claude Junior Clute, who gave one bowl to Ron Clute and one bowl to Jim & Margarette Clute.
