Welcome to the Clute Family History website. This website was developed by the late Ronald C. Clute, Ph.D., the founding director of the Clute Institute of Colorado. This website is now updated and maintained by Ron's son, Eric Clute.

The Clute name was initially spelled "Cloet" in the USA and previously "Clouet" in Belguim. There is an entire room devoted to Clouet paintings in the Louvre Museum in Paris France.
